A Detail Review on Unmanned Aeronautical Ad-hoc Networks

چکیده
One of the most significant design issues for multi-UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle) systems is the communication which is necessary for collaboration and cooperation among the UAVs. If all Unmanned Air Vehicle systems are directly linked to an infrastructure, i.e. a satellite or a ground base, the communication among UAVs can be observed via the infrastructure. Since, this infrastructure depending communication architecture limits the abilities of the multi-UAV systems. Ad-hoc networking among UAVs can solve the problems creating from a fully infrastructure depending UAV networks. In this review paper, Flying Ad-Hoc Networks (FANETs) are reviewed which is an ad hoc network linking the UAVs. The differences between MANETs, FANETs and VANETs (Vehicle Ad-Hoc Networks) are explained first, and then the significant FANET design issues are proposed. Along with the available FANET protocols, open research issues are

Enhancing the RGR Routing Protocol for Unmanned Aeronautical Ad-hoc Networks
The design of a routing protocol for Unmanned Aeronautical Ad-hoc Networks (UAANETs) is quite challenging, especially due to the high mobility of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and the low network density. Among all routing protocols that have been designed for UAANETs, the Reactive-Greedy-Reactive (RGR) protocol has been proposed as a promising routing protocol in high mobility and density-va...
متن کاملA Survey of Solutions to Protect Against All Types of Attacks in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
In recent years mobile networks have expanded dramatically, compared with other wireless networks. Routing protocols in these networks are designed with the assumption that there is no attacker node, so routing protocols are vulnerable to various attacks in these networks. In this paper, we review the network layer attacks and then we simulate the impact of black hole attack on ad hoc on demand...
متن کاملSurvey the Security Function of Integration of vehicular ad hoc Networks with Software-defiend Networks
In recent years, Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) have emerged as one of the most active areas in the field of technology to provide a wide range of services, including road safety, passenger's safety, amusement facilities for passengers and emergency facilities. Due to the lack of flexibility, complexity and high dynamic network topology, the development and management of current Vehicular A...
متن کاملLink availability estimation based reliable routing for aeronautical ad hoc networks
The aeronautical ad hoc network (AANET) is an application of the mobile ad hoc networking technology to aeronautical communications. As the airliners move at a very high speed, one critical issue for improving the performance of AANET is to select reliable route that can address the frequent link breakage problem induced by the unpredicted network topology changes. In this paper, we focus on de...
متن کاملA Fuzzy Realistic Mobility Model for Ad hoc Networks
Realistic mobility models can demonstrate more precise evaluation results because their parameters are closer to the reality. In this paper a realistic Fuzzy Mobility Model has been proposed. This model has rules which are changeable depending on nodes and environmental conditions. It seems that this model is more complete than other mobility models. After simulation, it was found out that not o...
